Welcome to UCPass

Founded in 2012, UC Professionals Association (UCPass) is a non profit and International membership organization dedicated to underserved and underprivileged students who decide to pursue their education in the University of California System in the US.

It is never too early to plan for attending university since there are many things to prepare, i.e. area of study, financial resource, schools of interest, personal preferences and etc. These are among the most important aspects to consider. UCPass with a committed group of UC alumni, is the key to success for students aiming for the excellent education in the USA. The University of California is one system with 10 campuses in California. It is known to be the most prestigious public university system in the world. The UC family includes more than 220,000 students, more than 170,000 faculty and staff, 37,000 retirees and more than 1.5 million living alumni. 49 researchers affiliated with the University of California have won Nobel Prizes.

UCPass is a UC alumni network to mainly focus on passing our knowledge and experience to those willing to work hard and excel academically to prepare for attending the University of California System.

Our name “UCPASS” means passing the entrance gate to a UC education. UCPASS is your pass to a new world of opportunities.

Our Background

We are a group of volunteers who hold positions in the US fortune 500 corporations, professionals and entrepreneurs with many years of industrial experience. We graduated from the University of California System. As Alumni, we would like to share our practical experience with the younger generation to pursue their academic development and future growth.

Our Mission

We reach out to low income families and underprivileged students with great potential from all over the world for the UC (University of California) System. Our goal is to empower the next generation with knowledge and education at the UC system and help them prepare for their education in the USA. We serve students who are committed to pursue their education in the UC System.

Board of Directors

Wilson Chan: Retired in 2020. Last position was Sr. Manager of Strategy & New Business Development, Cisco Systems (HK) Ltd. (Hong Kong). Class of 1992 in IEOR B.S. (Industrial Engineering and Operations Research) @ UC Berkeley.

Daniel Wong: Retired in 2015. Last position was Technical Solution Architect, IBM Corp. (Bay Area, CA). Class of 1993 in Chemistry B.S. @ UC Berkeley
